This Privacy Policy sets forth the terms and conditions that govern how we use and protect personal information provided or collected through the Nanci™ mobile application (the "Nanci™ app") and the Nanci™ website www.nanci.app (the "Nanci™ site" and together with the Nanci™ app, the "Service").
"Personal Information" for purposes of this Policy is defined as information that identifies you, such as your name, address, phone number, photo, or email address. We regularly re-evaluate our privacy policies and adapt them to address new challenges.
The term "you" or "User" refers to users of the Nanci™ app and Nanci™ site. The term "we" or "us" refers to CJN Ventures, LLC, and its affiliates, parents, and licensors.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information when you register or open an account, sign in, purchase services, call us for support, or give us feedback. We may also get information from other companies or third parties, such as when you sync a third party account or service with the Service, or when we may use service providers to supplement the Personal Information you give us (e.g., validate your mailing address) to help us maintain the accuracy of your data and provide you with better service. Finally, we also collect content or other information that you may provide or create when you interact with our Service.
We may also automatically collect certain usage information when you access our Service ("Usage Data"), such as Internet Protocol ("IP") addresses, log files, unique device identifiers, pages viewed, browser type, any links you click on to leave or interact with our Service, and other usage information collected from cookies and other tracking technologies.
Our Services may change over time and we may introduce new features that may collect new or different types of information.
2. Use of Personal Information
We do not and will not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We use and disclose your personal information only for the following purposes:

- Advertisers, marketers and complimentary product and service groups operated by us;
- Users of the Service for purposes of comparison of their personal financial situation relative to a broader group.
Your account information and other personal information you provide is strictly restricted and is used internally only to operate, develop, or improve the Service. We may also use third party vendors or service providers to help us provide the Service to you, such as sending e-mail messages on our behalf or hosting and operating a particular feature or functionality of the Service. Our contracts with these third party vendors or the Terms of Use under which we operate outline the appropriate use and handling of personal information and prohibit them from using any of your personal information for purposes unrelated to the product or service they're providing. We require such third parties to maintain the confidentiality of the information we provide to them.
We collect your debit or credit card number or checking account information to process your initial payment and all subsequent payments. We will use your e-mail address as our primary source of contact with you regarding the Service.
3. Connecting Your Bank Accounts
You may choose to sync the Service with information from your financial accounts. To sync your financial account information, we must access your online account with your financial institutions. We will request your user name, password, and any other login bank data that you have set up with your financial institution to enable access. We use this information to update and maintain the account information you download, to assist with the download process, and to enhance the Service we may provide in the future. This exchange of information is necessary to maintain business operations and to provide the ongoing Service you've requested.
4. Disclosure or Transfer of Your Information
We reserve the right (and you authorize us) to share or disclose your personal information when we determine, in our sole discretion, that the disclosure of such information is necessary or appropriate:
- To enforce our rights against you or in connection with a breach by you of this Privacy Policy or the Nanci™ Terms of Use;
- To prevent prohibited or illegal activities; or
- When required by any applicable law, rule regulation, subpoena or other legal process.
Your information may be transferred in connection with a sale, merger, transfer, exchange, or other disposition (whether of assets or otherwise) of all or a portion of a business operated by Nanci or its affiliates.
5. Email Communications From Us
We may provide our registered customers with regular Account Information updates and email alerts. We also allow users to subscribe to email newsletters and from time to time may transmit emails promoting Nanci™ or Nanci™-related goods or services. You have the ability to opt-out of receiving our promotional emails and to terminate their newsletter subscriptions by following the instructions in the emails. Opting out in this manner will not end transmission of service-related emails, such as email alerts but may not end the transmission of account-critical or triggered emails such as password reset verification.
6. Data Retention
In accordance with and as permitted by applicable law and regulations, we will retain your information as long as necessary to serve you, to maintain your account for as long as your account is active, or as otherwise needed to operate our business. When you close your account, we may continue to communicate with you about our Service, give you important business updates that may affect you, and let you know about products and services that may interest you, unless you have opted out of receiving marketing communications. We may also continue to use some of your information for business purposes and to improve our offerings or in some cases to develop new ones. We will retain and use your information as required by applicable regulations and our records and information management policies to comply with our legal and reporting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, complete any outstanding transactions and for the detection and prevention of fraud.
7. Data Security
We employ a multi-layer security approach including firewall barriers, data encryption techniques, authentication procedures, data transmission encryption, among other hardware, software, and procedural methods. When you register for the Service, we require a password from you for your privacy and security. We transmit information such as your Registration Information or Account Credentials securely.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your email address and password. We also recommend that you change your password periodically. You may not provide these credentials to any third party. If you believe that they have been stolen or been made known to others, you must contact us immediately. If this occurs, you should change your password immediately via the Service. We are not responsible if someone else accesses your account through Registration Information they have obtained from you or through a violation by you of this Privacy Policy or the Terms of Use.
8. Updates to the Privacy Policy
We update this Privacy Policy periodically. The date last revised appears at the bottom of the Policy. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on the Nanci™ site.
